About CrewCord

CrewCord is a field service management platform that helps service professionals manage scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and team coordination. We send SMS notifications to our platform users (business owners, managers, dispatchers, and crew members) to keep them informed about job updates, appointment reminders, and team assignments.

Who Receives SMS Messages

SMS messages are sent from CrewCord to registered platform users only — business owners, managers, dispatchers, and crew members who have signed up for and logged into the CrewCord platform. Messages are not sent to end customers of businesses using CrewCord.

Types of Messages

• Appointment and job schedule reminders
• Crew assignment and dispatch notifications
• Job status updates (started, completed, etc.)
• New lead and quote approval alerts
• Invoice payment confirmations

How Users Opt In

Users opt in to SMS notifications through the CrewCord web application. The opt-in process is as follows:

1. User logs into their CrewCord account at https://crewcord.com
2. User navigates to Settings → Notifications
3. User enters their mobile phone number in the "Your SMS Number" section
4. User checks the opt-in consent checkbox
5. User clicks "Save SMS Settings" to confirm

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any message from CrewCord
• Unchecking the SMS opt-in checkbox in Settings → Notifications

Message Frequency & Data Rates

Message frequency varies based on your job schedule and notification preferences. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase or use of CrewCord.
