Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CrewCord platform (“Service”), operated by CrewCord (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including business owners, team members, and end customers interacting through the customer portal.

2. Description of Service

CrewCord is a field service management platform that provides tools for scheduling, invoicing, customer relationship management, team coordination, route optimization, and business operations management. The Service is offered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product accessible via web browsers.

3. Accounts & Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use CrewCord, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete information including your business name, email address, and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Multi-Tenant Access

CrewCord supports multi-tenant architecture. As a business owner, you control which team members can access your business data and at what permission level (Owner, Manager, Dispatcher, Crew).

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1 Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. During the trial, you have access to all features available on the Free plan.

4.2 Paid Plans

CrewCord offers tiered subscription plans (Basic, Growth, Pro) with varying feature access and usage limits. Plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page. All prices are in USD and billed monthly.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

4.4 Refunds

Subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.

5. User Content & Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the data and content you upload, create, or transmit through CrewCord (“User Content”). This includes customer records, job data, invoices, photos, and any other business information.

5.2 License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.3 Data Export

You may export your data at any time through the available export features (e.g., CSV exports). We will provide reasonable assistance for data portability requests.

5.4 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload, post, or transmit content that:

  • Is unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Constitutes spam or unsolicited bulk communications
  • Violates the privacy rights of any third party

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Exceed usage limits established by your subscription plan

7. Third-Party Services

CrewCord integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Google Maps (location services), and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is the property of CrewCord and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the CrewCord name, trademarks, or branding without written permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any information generated by the Service, including route calculations, financial summaries, or automated notifications.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREWCORD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days after termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
